How to Store Books
from wikiHow - The How to Manual That You Can Edit
Storing your books without creating book strain and gathering dust is simple but not exactly cheap. You need to seal the book away from the elements and and at the same time limit the size and weight of the parcel. Observe:
Steps
- Purchase a sealable plastic box no larger than 11"h x 14"w x 19"l. This size will accommodate most book sizes without creating a box to heavy to lift. A Plastic File Box fits the job very nicely. They also allow for easy stacking.
- Fill the box with your favorite editions of fine literature, scientific research, and lurid exploitation fiction.
- Seal lid.
- Place in a easy to reach, but out of the way location. This will allow you access to your tomes without a struggle, and keep you from tripping on them during the night while you are looking for your heart medication.
Warnings
- If you have a bad back, limit the number of books placed in each container.
