AUSTRALIAN WRITER RICHARD FLANAGAN
WINS MAN BOOKER PRIZE FOR HIS NOVEL, THE NARROW ROAD TO THE DEEP NORTH.
It is a novel based on the experience
of Flanagan’s father, who was a prisoner of war in WWII. Flanagan has been awarded 50,000 Pounds Sterling. This is Flanagan’s sixth novel.
